  4. Let’s Practice • Why should benefactors invest in your theme park section? What makes your ideas innovative with a potential for success? • Thesis Statement: • Benefactors should invest in the Pirate’s Adventure theme park section of Andy Town because (1st reason) , (2nd reason) and (3rd reason) .

  5. Example • Using your business plan, find an example of what makes your theme park special. • Pirate’s Adventure is worth investing in because it offers more thrill rides in one section than most other parks in Southern California.

  6. Evidence • Now, it’s your turn to prove it! • Find a popular SoCal theme park to compare yours to. • According to an Orange County Register online article, “Tomorrowland attractions include: Astro Orbitor, Autopia, Buzz Lightyear, Astro Blasters, Disneyland Monorail, Finding Nemo, Submarine Voyage, Space Mountain and Star Tours – The Adventures Continue”

Explanation • You will now explain how your example and piece of evidence supports your thesis. • In other words, explain why your park is better than another, using the previously stated evidence as back up! • Although Disneyland’s Tomorrowland offers exciting family fun for its patrons, the Pirate’s Adventure section of Andy Town tops Mickey’s palace when it comes to roller coaster offerings. From merry-go-rounds to coasters high the sky, the Pirate section has rides the entire family can enjoy, including teenagers. While Disneyland’s Tomorrowland mostly caters to its young customers and only offers 9 attractions, Pirate’s Adventure offers 11 thrilling opportunities for a fun-filled family day.
