Timelessness • Amendments in a logo design leaves a bad impression on a viewers mind • Therefore timelessness is important for a logo to be recognized for many centuries • Example: the logo of Microsoft haven’t changed in many years, they have aimed in designing a timelessness logo for their company. Company is still recognized by any of its logo.

Versatility • A logo must be flexible enough to fit in any industry related to the brand • Versatility of brand logo is necessary as it is used on different platforms and forum to increase the brand awareness • Increasing awareness of a brands means spreading it wings to fly and promote its product and services all across.

  8. Appropriateness • A logo must be according to the company theme • A construction company logo wont go with a fashion industry • Proper logo design that goes with the company’s field of work is necessary, as it will represent the business and is easily recognized .

  9. Process of designing a logo • A logo is gone through a number of step to get a finishing look : • Step 1: Research the field/industry. • Step 2: Get to know the client. • Step 3: Sketch, present, and iterate on initial ideas. • Step 4: Revise. • Step 5: Organize the final deliverable

  10. Step 1: Research the field/industry. • Researching the field or industry helps designers get a sense of the environment the logo's going to live in. • This is especially true for designers who haven't done prior work in that field or industry.  • The appropriate look and feel of a real estate logo, for example, is going to be different than those of a restaurant or band logo.

  11. Step 2: Get to know the client. • Once the designer has a solid, objective understanding of the field or industry, it's time to get the best possible understand of what the client does and who their target audience is. • When this part of the process is done right, it involves a lot of back and forth, asking questions, and pushing the client to articulate and deeply explain their value proposition.  •  For newer companies, these discussions can actually be really eye opening. "A lot of companies aren't aware of how they're different -- especially smaller companies. • These logo design discussions can even help them think more about what differentiates themselves from their competitors."

  12. Step 3: Sketch, present, and iterate on initial ideas. • Try to present the client with between two and three possibilities, as providing many will be a waste of time indeed .

  13. Step 4: Revise. • Sometimes, this step is only one little tweak. Other times, it's a series of longer revisions. • Revision is necessary but too much revision will cost you your time. • Provide the clients with a limited revisions so he knows that how to use these revisions effectively

  14. Step 5: Organize the final deliverable • Once the logo is finalized, you should make it presentable with the right formatting and in the right file. • Than comes the last part to deliver it to the real owner • Make sure when he/she views the logo, he have a wow factor on his face.
