  2. Steps to acceptability • EGEE plans to move towards OGSA • For the continued success of R-GMA we need (R)GMA to be: • accepted by the OGSA community • appear in the OGSA document • We don’t have very long to do this • Note: • OGSI is a set of rules • OGSA is a club and a document R-GMA

  3. Some evidence… I'm in a meeting with Steve Tuecke, and he suggests that the OGSA WG should publish a list of the WGs that we consider relevant to the OGSA platform. We've come very close to this, e.g. reviewing the list of WGs and deciding which to meet at GGF9, but as far as I'm aware we haven't agreed to publish this list. It seems a good idea to me - perhaps it should be part of our initial presentation at GGF9? OGSA-WG had a discussion on proper usage of "OGSA" at the last F2F meeting. We find several WG/RGs are using word "OGSA" in their name. Not all WG/RGs, however, have sufficient communication with us. As an architecture working group, the OGSA-WG would like to define compliant rules of the OGSA tag in order to build mature and consistent architecture. We would very much appreciate it if the GFSG could review the following proposal and give us feedback before GGF9. If it is possible, we would like to make it public in our sessions at GGF9 to coordinate and streamline the activities of OGSA related WGs. The following constitute an OGSA (brand) compliant GGF WG: 1) Demonstrate that they were operating within the OGSI framework. 2) The work needs to fit (plug point) into the Open Grid Services Architecture as defined by our document. 3) From a process perspective, they engage actively with us and other OGSA related working group - contribute use cases, etc. 4) Use OGSA as an adjective. 4. Action • Abdeslem will make sure it happens! • He will need active involvement from all the GridService people R-GMA
