  12. RTCP for wireless • Real-Time Control Protocol • Optimize RTCP • Feedback 정보를 이용하여 최적화 Encoding rate를 실시간으로 반영하여 서비스의 신뢰성을 향상시킨다. • 불필요한 RTCP 자체의 Traffic 을 Wireless에 알맞게 조정하여 가용대역폭을 늘린다.

Session management for wireless(cont) • SIP Proxy • Wired 와 Wireless 사이에서 SIP Traffic을 제어( etc. Retransmit Interval, Response Timeout ) • Wireless에서 신뢰성 있는 SIP 전송을 위해 SCTP(Stream Control Transport Protocol)를 사용한다. (cf. wired 에선 UDP를 사용) • SIP Mobility • Wireless 단말의 위치 이동정보를 갱신하는 기능(Location Server) • 별도의 절차 없이 Roaming service가 지원된다.

  20. #6. Media Load-Balance • 목적 • Media Traffic을 복수 Media Server로 분산시켜서 서비스 품질을 향상시킨다. • 방법 • RTSP Play 요청을 Redirect 기법을 응용하여 여러 Media Server로 분산할 수 있다.( Media Server용 L4 Switch ) • Wired & Wireless에 모두 적용 가능
