    3. Some workers produce goods. Goods are things we buy. Goods are bought and traded all over the world.

    4. Some workers provide services. Checking your health, putting out fires, and taking care of pets are all services that workers can provide. Services are bought and traded all over the world.

    5. A need is something you have to have to survive. Food and water are needs.

    6. Your home and clothes are both a need.

    7. Plants and air are needs.

    8. A want is something you do not need to survive. Toys are a want.

    9. A boat or camper is a want.

    10. A swimming pool and a trampoline are wants.

    11. A worker earns money to buy needs and wants.

    12. Workers need certain skills to do a job.

    13. Workers must perform their jobs well.

    14. For example, a teacher must come to work every day, be on time, plan lessons, and teach students.

    16. What is are goods and how do we get them? Goods are things we buy. Goods are bought and traded all over the world.

    17. What are services and who provides them? Services are things done for others. For example, a vet taking care of your animal is a service.

    18. What is a need? Give examples of needs. A need is something you have to have to survive.

    19. What are wants? Give examples of wants. Wants are things you do not need to survive. They are things you would like to have, but do not have to have in order to survive.
