Revision Proposal for Student Grade Change Appeal Regulations

DESCRIPTION

The current academic regulations direct students petitioning for grade changes to inform the Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs. D. Robinson points out that Student Affairs has no formal role in such appeals, suggesting a revision to the language. RP&A proposes modifying SAR Sec. VIII Undergraduate Studies – I.3c to allow students to request consultations for clarification on policies, while removing the requirement to inform the Vice Chancellor about ongoing grade appeals. This aims to clarify the role of Student Affairs in grade-related matters.
