  2. Problem Make an NXT drag-racer robot that goes as fast as it can for 20 feet and then stops.

  3. Original Design Our original design was a small nxt robot that would be programmed to stop at 20ft and move quickly by the sound of clapping . It would then pick up speed as it goes. Then we would clap again to make it stop. We decided to come up with a better design then this so that the robot could go even faster. We wanted it to be more effective so we modified this original design.

Pseudo Code Final pseudo code : Problem- Get the robot to go as fast as it can and stop after 20 ft Plan- - When you press the orange buttons the motors will activate and go forward as fast as possible for twenty feet • Beginning pseudo code : • Problem- • Get the robot to go as fast as it can and stop after 20 ft • Plan- • When you clap, the robot will go forward as fast as possible. • When you clap again, it will stop (after 20 ft.) • As the robot is moving it will get faster and faster.

  5. Improvements made While building our robot we realized we needed to make numerous improvements. We added gears, 1 more motors, and more wheels to speed up the robot from its original design. We also added

  6. Final Design Our final design for our nxt robot is with a ultrasonic sensor. The purpose of our nxt drag racer is to go as quickly as possible for 20ft and stop before bumping into anything. We decided to modify the original design because the first robot we built did not go very fast. So, we built a new robot that would be much quicker and much more effective. we added an ultrasonic sensor so that are robot would move more quickly to the finish line but stop before running into anything.
