Scope, Strategy Scope of the AOC system AOC system shall allow users to register, modify, manage and follow-up the “Avis d’Ouverture de Chantier”/IS-39 documents Administration tools for LHC Installation Strategy AOC document integrated into EDH Validity and consistency of data Retrieved from concerned CERN dbs via Foundation: Patrimony, CFU, EDH/DAI, HR, etc Assure confidentiality and security issues Assure consistency and transparency Safety data E.Sánchez-Corral, L. Objectives AOC system used CERN-wide AOC system will be not only an AOC repository but an AOC Management tool Complete system which covers both Safety and Management aspects of works on the CERN sites Detect/trace/solve works co-activities Contracts’ Safety information provided and used to validate AOC data Follow-up works: where, when, by whom Homogeneity with related EDH documents Level-3 Alarms IS-37, Fire Permit Create a common environment in EDH / AOC Phase II (from 2/03) Interface to Works Planning AOC work tasks <-> Planning / AOC Phase II (from 2/03) E.Sánchez-Corral, L. Progress Status User Requirements collection: May-June/02 “AOC Informatique” Working Group PS, SL, ST, TIS, LHC, EP ST AOC prototype start point Specification: July-October/02 Interface to Patrimony db Agreed with J. Garcin: 10/9 Interface to CFU db Agreed with CFU (L. Esteveny): 16/10 AOC User Requirements document Reviewed with AS/EDH Specific requirements being individually “formulated”. Planned: 25/10 To be accepted by AS/EDH AOC User Interface specification Updated according to CFU interface. A first prototype exist To be accepted by AS/EDH E.Sánchez-Corral, L. Symons /ST D. Actions Plan (ST) Input CFU/Contracts’ Safety data and Documents on Completion By Contract Managers Locate in EDMS Contract Safety documents and Documents on Completion By Contract Managers Give “AOC create right” Identify persons who should have this right Works Supervisors (& deputies), DL, GLs, SLs, DSOs, … DPO (?) shall assign “AOC create right” to concerned persons Include “Chemical risks” in Patrimony db Follow Standards simplified Associated to “Buildings” Follow-up AOC system development Inform of project progress to “AOC Informatique” working group E.Sánchez-Corral, L.
