Food Bourne Illness ORQ

This article defines Potentially Hazardous Foods (PHFs) and provides three examples, such as dairy products, meat, and cooked rice. It also identifies three populations at higher risk for foodborne illnesses: young children, the elderly, and individuals with weakened immune systems. For young children, their immune systems are still developing. The elderly often have diminished immunity and other health issues. Individuals with compromised immune systems may not be able to fight off infections effectively.
