Join us at Illinois Valley Community College's Inventor's Camp, funded by the National Science Foundation, to ignite interest in technical careers among young people, especially young women. Through hands-on STEM exercises, teamwork activities, and engaging special events like the Edible Car Contest and guitar engineering course, we address barriers and misperceptions in engineering. Students will build confidence while learning about physics, design, and assembly. This program focuses on promoting technical education and inspiring the next generation of innovators. For inquiries, contact Dorene Perez at 815-224-0221.
