  3. Why are we doing this? Collaborative Responsive Research based Confidential Supportive On going Available A resource in my school who can support me in instruction and literacy strategies. The purpose is to increase student achievement by responding to student need through learning and working together. Instructional Coach My team is looking for a way for students determine importance of information in text. They seem either write everything they read, or hardly write anything at all. We discuss this in our team meeting with the inst. coach. She presents a strategy for this and we work through its strengths and weaknesses together after we give it a try. Bus safety

Why the Instructional Model? • Take a few minutes to review the instructional model to yourself. • When you have reviewed the information, talk with your partner and come up with a response to one of the following questions: • What word or phrase might best encompass this model and its impact on delivery of instruction? Why did you choose this word? (evaluate) • Relate how the instructional model might impact teaching to the “Fs” activity? (synthesize)
