  1. New Zealand Green Bikes Trust collects used or/and broken bikes, fixed and recycled them back to the community. Fig. 2. Sitemap, Navigational Elements ABSTRACT Due to business expansion the existing website system requires updating. The management believed that a generic open source content management website is the solution to its current problem. External sources requirements included: a Portal producing a platform containing software components such as an automation database, a Server and Languages with an open source content management feature. In NZGBT’s case we chose the DotNetNuke feature powered by Microsoft. Diagram 2. User Interface Concept INTRODUCTION The Project objective is to build a generic free open source CMS website that will be easy for non-technical people to use. The Project Plan consists of 7 Phases as illustrated in Fig. 1. CONCLUSION Our objective is to design and build an open source CMS website for the Trust. The project plan consists of 7 phases which determined project milestones and key iteration processes. Further, end user of the system were defined by functionalities. To achieve project goals an objectives, a site map was developed and navigational elements defined. On the basis of the sitemap design we developed the User Interface Concept (UIC). The UIC, produces clear guidelines on how to build the prototype. Philosophy ‘Must be easy for people to use and for staff to manage’ said Mr John Poppleton Chairman of the New Zealand Green Bikes Trust.
