  2. Weather/temperature The top layer of a pond is around 65-75 degrees Fahrenheit. The middle layer of a pond is around 45-65 degrees Fahrenheit. The bottom layer of a pond is around 39-45 degrees Fahrenheit. That’s the temperatures of a pond. Marshes and swamps are cloudy and foggy. While ponds, streams, rivers, and creeks are sunny.   4. Trees Here are some trees. In cooler swamps, there are silver maple, a willow and ash. Warmer swamps have bald cypresses.

  5. Landforms There are lots of landforms in freshwater areas. There are brooks, streams, rivers, marshes, swamps and creeks.

  6. Interesting Facts WOW!!! There are lots of interesting facts on freshwater areas! Let us tell you some. Ex. The swimming monkey called a Macaque and the Amazon River dolphin that is pink, called a Pink Porpoise! There is also the Nile river, the longest river on earth, stretching 4,145 miles long! That’s it!
