  1. Hi, my name is Julie. I have been here in the International Centre for 7 years now. I used to work full-time but now I have a young son (Sebastian) so for the last 3 years I’ve worked just 3 days a week. This means I get to play on Mondays and Thursdays! How lucky am I to have such a great blend of work and home life. I really enjoy my work because although it can be really hectic at times, it’s a great atmosphere; the staff are fun and supportive and also I love being surrounded by young people of different cultures and backgrounds. I believe part of this appreciation stems from earlier days, when I travelled and worked in different countries. I hope you are enjoying your time with us, and remember to make the most of your NZ experience by taking all the opportunities that come your way while you are here.
