Making the difference

On June 16, 2012, Sue Horner highlighted the significant role of writers in schools through NAWE initiatives. By inspiring pupils and enhancing teacher collaboration, writers contribute lasting confidence and innovative teaching methods. This event emphasized the value of residencies, new learning experiences, and strategic partnerships to enrich classrooms. Writers can work together to spread effective practices, engage in training, and lead initiatives that foster a love for reading and writing among children and young people. Together, we can empower the next generation of writers.
