  2. Belief A belief is a strong opinion that someone has, which may or may not be right.

  6. What are some personal, life-changing, universal beliefs? Life is fair Words can hurt What goes around comes around Love conquers all An eye for an eye is fair justice People should be forgiven

  7. What do you believe? You can AGREE or DISAGREE with a belief This is usually determined by your life experiences and by how you think the world works.

  10. You Do This step is to be done quietly by yourself Look at your handout of beliefs. Select 5 beliefs to which you can relate the most and underline them. Write down agree or disagree, depending on what life has taught you.

  11. With your elbow partner… Discuss your answers for the 5 statements you chose. Give a reason behind why you either agree or disagree with the statement. Listen to your partner’s response. Do they agree or disagree with you?
