  11. #BearsGoToTown • Co-produced by Broadmead BID and Wild Place Project • 22 July to 31 August • free summer trail featuring 24 metre-high 2D bears hosted by shops and attractions across Broadmead, The Galleries, The Arcade, and Cabot Circus • Objective to encourage families to visit Bristol Shopping Quarter during the summer school holidays while also raising awareness of the new Bear Wood exhibit at Wild Place Project • 10,000 maps printed, available from each venue and also distributed to local hotels, Bristol Old Vic theatre (during performances of We're Going on a Bear Hunt) and the Tourist Information Centre • The map was also available to download from Bristol Shopping Quarter website • Participants completing the trail were able to enter a competition to win tickets to Wild Place Project

  12. #BearsGoToTown Promotion • Eight week campaign on The Breeze • Digital campaigns with Visit Bristol and Bristol Live • Extensive social media coverage with participants were encouraged to use the hashtag #BearsGoToTown • Trail picked up by several local websites and blogs and recommended as something good to do over the holiday period • Competitions linked to the trail delivered almost 1,500 new subscribers for our regular consumer newsletter

NEWBusiness Crime Reduction Partnership • Linking up with City Centre BID to drive improved partnerships and actions with Police and other local partners • Working towards BCRP national standards with SWBCC support • Membership of BCRI transfers to the new BCRP includes security radio-net and DISC access • Additional hospitality / NTE DISC platform • Advisory panel appointed: first meeting 18th September • Exclusion Notice scheme for entire area to be launched October • Broadmead BID Retail Support Ranger introduced via SWL: Jack Rex
