  2. Why I chose This Topic • I chose bunnies, because I want to get one, they are one of my favorite animal, and I wanted to learn more about them.

  3. Persuasion • I am persuading you to like bunnies and help them so they do not go in danger. They are cute and lovable!

  4. Descriptive paragraph • There are four bunnies. They are snuggled together. They all have brown eyes, and have pink ears. They are pink and are Mrs. Klepper’s favorite things! They are also in a peep box.

  5. Rabbits Rabbits eat leafy plants during the spring, and the buds and bark of woody plants in the winter. Here is a picture of a rabbit with her babies.

  6. Cottontail Rabbits Cottontail rabbits are both gray and brown. They have huge ears, hind feet, and fluffy tails. They are about a foot long and they weigh about from two to three weigh 2 to 3 pounds.

  11. Facts on Rabbits A female rabbit is called a doe. A male rabbit is called a buck. A young rabbit is called a kit (or kitten). Rabbits live in groups. The European rabbit lives underground, in burrows. More than half of the world’s rabbits live in North America. Rabbits have long ears which can be as long as 10 cm (4 in). Rabbits have a lifespan of around 10 years. Rabbits are herbivores (plant eaters). Pet rabbits that live inside are often referred to as ‘house rabbits’. Rabbits reproduce very quickly. Rabbits are born with their eyes closed and without fur.
