  2. Appearance • A reindeer color is short dark summer coat and a thick lighter colored coat in the winter. The reindeer is four feet tall(1.2m)tall at the shoulder and a bout 6 feet(1.8m)lion. There is not a differences between males and females. Their body is covered with worm fur. Reindeer have very wide splayed hooves which enables the reindeer to spread weight on soft snow to prevent them from sinking.

  3. Habitat Reindeer can be found in the Arctic tundra ,forests, and mountains in Russia, Northern China, Canada, Alaska and Scandinavia. It is cold because they live in the north. The fur on the reindeer will keep it worm all year long so it won`t get sick.

  4. Eating Habits Reindeer eat moss, lichens, and leaves and herbs. Reindeer are herbivore that mean`s a plant eater
