  2. Mother’s Day is just around the corner and kids always love to create something unique for their mothers. Your toddlers must also be preparing something to surprise you on Mother’s Day.Montessori San Dimas, CA, the team believes there is nothing like a homemade/handmade Mother’s Day gift to show their love for you. So, before the D-day, teachers are keeping their pre-schoolers busy in different art and craft activities. Below they are sharing some of the fun and easy craft activities your kids can indulge in while they are at home. Mothers, are requested to stay away from helping kids when they are busy with any of these activities as they would like to keep it secret to surprise you on the day. Fathers can help the little artists in making their handmade Mother’s Day gift.

  3. Butterfly Handprint Cards • These butterfly handprint cards are too cute! And the best part about this craft is it is handmade with love and comes with an adorable keepsake of your child’s handprints. Supplies you need: • Multi-colored card stock/ paper • Small googly eyes • Black markers • Pompoms • Paint and glue Steps to follow: • First, fold over the paper in half • Now trace your child’s hand such a way so that the wrist is on the folded side • Then add an antenna and cut out your butterfly • With the different colored paper, cut out a body and head (round or heart-shaped) and paste the head with the body.
