Be aware of some safety tips for International and Domestic Travel • Renew Your Passport • Renew your passport 6 - 9 months before it expires • Denial of country entry if your passport is due to expire • Know Your Embassy • Know the location • Contact information for the U.S. embassy or consulate • Copies of Documentation • Create a travel plan • Register with the U.S. State Department; allows them to: • Assist you and • Contact family or friends in case of an emergency. • Don't Leave Home Without Help • Have 24/7 access to emergency assistance services (TGI) • Keep the assistance hotline number with you at all times for: • Rebooking hotels and flights • Coordinating emergency medical evacuations

Be aware of some safety tips for International and Domestic Travel • Educate Yourself Regarding • Immigration practices, • Health conditions, • Political disturbances, • Currency and entry regulations • Crime and security information • Don't Miss Your Flight • Arrive at the airport 3 hours prior to departure. • Check in at the ticket counter with photo identification & passport. • Don’t be a foreign tourist target • Don't Be A Target of Crime • Avoid wearing conspicuous clothing or jewelry • Do not carry excessive amounts of cash or credit cards • Do not leave unattended luggage in public areas and • Do not accept packages from strangers. • Don't Get Stuck In Customs
