  4. What is Convectional? This type of rain occurs when the atmosphere is heated by the earth’s surface

  6. What is the Sun? The source of energy of all weather

  7. What is the largest temperature range? The result of a clear day and a clear night

  8. What is orographic? “Rainfall caused by onshore winds blowing over warm oceans”

  9. What are prevailing? Regular periodic winds

  10. What is a rotation? • Takes the earth 24 hours for one completion.
