  2. At the present time, there are a lot of technologies being used for making water coolers and water fountains. Most of the schools and offices prefer to use new technology water coolers only. • But when buying the water cooler, no matter which place you are buying, there are a few basic things which you should check. • We know that the technology used in the water fountains for schools or offices vary from each other. • Like in most of the schools you will see people using Mains Fed Water Coolers, whereas in offices people generally use bottled water cooler. But there are a few basic things which are the same in all kinds of water coolers which you should know. • Below, we have mentioned a few basic things which you need to check when purchasing these water coolers.

Check if the water cooler has filtering technology or not • The water cooler which you are buying whether it is a mains fed water cooler or some other water cooler, make sure that you check whether it has filtering technology or not. • If the filtering technology is not there in the water cooler, you will have to get it fixed separately. This means you will have to spend more money on the water cooler. • Otherwise, without the filtering technology, the water cooler will provide you with cold water, but it will not be pure water to drink. So, do not forget to check the filtering technology.

  4. Know about the water cooler’s maintenance • Water coolers require timely cleaning and maintenance service. But you also need to check how soon it requires the cleaning and maintenance service. • With the cleaning service, we understand that it should be cleaned every week or twice a month. But with the maintenance service, you need to see if it requires frequent maintenance or once or twice in a year. • Because, if it requires frequent maintenance, then there is no benefit of buying it. Look for the one, which can work for a long period and requires less maintenance. • You also should see if the water cooler requires cleaning from the service center or it can be cleaned by self also.

  5. Installation of water cooler • If it is the bottled water cooler, you will not have to worry about the installation of the water cooler. But if it is any other water cooler, you will have to worry about its installation. • Most of the water cooler companies provide the installation service. But when you buy the local water cooler, you will have to check with the seller, whether they provide installation service or not. • And if they do not provide the installation service, then check if the installation is easy to do or not. Or whether the installation is time taking or not. If it is easy to install, then there will be no problem. • But if it is not easy to install, you may require technicians helps in installing them. This is also, one of the reasons why we suggest people buy the water coolers from the brand or known company.
