  1. Hibiscus Tea – URLife Wellness Platform

  2. Hibiscus Tea • Hibiscus tea is a herbal tea that is made in boiling water by steeping parts of the hibiscus plant. • It has a similar tart taste to that of cranberries, and both hot and cold can be enjoyed. • There are several hundred species of hibiscus that differ according to the location and environment in which they grow, but the most common use of Hibiscus sabdariffa is to make hibiscus tea.

  3. Hibiscus Tea Recipe • Here are few easy steps to make hibiscus tea at home: • Step 1 : • Boil a pot of water. Add the dried/ fresh hibiscus flowers to a clean and empty teapot. • Step 2 : • Add the boiling water into the teapot. Let all the ingredients infuse in the water for some time. • Step 3 : • You can also let the tea soak for a longer time for it to have an intense/stronger taste and colour. You can judge the intensity of the tea by looking at the changing colour of the water — the darker the colour, the intense the flavour. Strain the tea. Add jaggery as per UR taste. Serve UR delicious tea hot with a healthy snack or garnish with cinnamon, mint leaves, or a lemon wedge.
