Corporate Indirect Communications Project • Identify Top 1000 UK companies and define the business sectors they operate in • Prioritise Business Sectors in terms of volumes & risk • Identify and qualify the most appropriate Trade Associations to communicate 21CN messages to members in priority sectors • Also identify and qualify the horizontal Trade Associations across all sectors that are concerned with telephony; and shortlist them • Develop content for all collateral with help of CP expertise, including corporate specific Q&A and switched-on website additions • Gain approval of the key sectors, trade associations and collateral by the communication working group prior to any contact being made with trade associations • Representatives from Consult21 / switched-on will manage the : • Priority TAs – phone call and follow up meeting • Back up TAs – Email/letter with tool kit information (Press Releases/ presentations etc)

Progress Report • Following a communication working group conference call on 26 Nov 2007, the top 1000 businesses in the UK have been segmented into 9 Business Activity Sectors • The most relevant Trade Associations have been initially defined for each sector – subject to further qualification • The top companies in each sector have also been defined – purely as examples, not to be communicated with

Next Steps Dec 2007 • Collate content for materials from CPs • Finalise the collateral requirements • Trade Associations will be further researched to ensure their membership include the profile of individuals at large Corporates. (primarily IT directors/managers and Facilities Managers). The size of relevant membership and their channels of communication with their members and willingness to engage will also be assessed Jan 2007 (on approval of the above) • Consult21/switched-on representative commence contact with trade associations
