What is Induction program? • The Induction Program is designed to make the newly joined students feel comfortable • Sensitize them towards exploring their academic interests and activities • Reducing competition and making them work for excellence, promote bonding within them • Build relations between teachers and students • Give a broader view of life, and building of character.

  4. Goal of induction program: • The main goal of the induction program is to help students shift gears from school to Institute life. • At the end of the program, students are committed and excited about learning and growth. • This program will also help students to appreciate the importance of professionalism and values and at the same time will help them in establishing a healthy bonding within the student community. 

  5. Specifics of INDUCTION in EEE Branch: • It has been observed that students in our college are ignoring Science over engineering. • So some lecture are planned on basics Physics and Mathematics, with objective to explain their significance in Electrical and Electronics engineering. • These lectures involved the deep roots of Physics and Mathematics in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.

  6. Extracurricular activities: • Students are lacking in extracurricular activities as Sports, singing, dancing and many other activities. • In this regard sports activities were planned which aims to bring back sports in their routine. • These activities also aims to bring students of different streams closer at early as possible by means of sports. • These activities also aims to bring coordination among the students and make them comfortable with the college enviroment.

  7. Advanced (digital) learning : • Student must be aware with the digital learning right away from the beginning of first year • As Digital learning technologies can enable students to grasp concepts more quickly and fully, to connect theory and application more adeptly and to engage in learning more readily • Digital technologies will enable this in new and better ways and create possibilities beyond the limits of our current imagination. • In this Regard, students were demonstrated about MOOCs, NPTEL, SWAYAM and other online modes.

Scope of electrical and electronics engineering: • It has been observed that students are not fully aware of opportunity in EEE. • In this regard, lectures were conducted explaining about scopes of EEE branch • A Graduate in EEE can go for Diverse fields whether it is GATE, PSU Job, Core Sectors like Construction & Steel,IT Industry, Consultancy/Finance Job, Electronics Design and a myriad of Profiles like Business Development Associates, Content Development Manager etc.

CONT. • It gives you Opportunities to explore Consultancy Domains, Eligibility to Write UPSC IES(Indian Engineering Services),Opt for Electrical Engineering paper as Optional in UPSC IAS • You can also appear for PSUs like AIRPORT Authority of INDIA where Electrical & Electronics Students are allowed along with ECE students for post of Junior Executive(Electronics). That means if you are only BE/Btech in Electrical Engineering You are not Eligible to Fill the Form unless you are BE/Btech in ECE,EEE.
