  4. Aim • How to work and analyze alone without help • In other words, you are alone, abandoned in Siberia during Winter ! And you want to publish

Why to analyze? • Because you are the best but nobody knows it…yet ! • Because you want to compare your results to those of other teams • Because critical of reviewers help you to be better • Because it is the future of our job • Because patientswant to know what are our results • To obtain grant (ex. NASA) Analysing is a philosophy of humility

  6. What to analyze? • Your experiences • Your new treatment, methods, experiments… • But according to international rules, schedules and laws!

  7. How to analyze? • According to national and international standart • With knowledge of the background of the disease, techniques, methods, etc… • A strict and precise methodology ! • With the shortest time as possible? • As repeatable as possible

  8. Delay between idea and analyse/publication • Idea : 30 seconds • Background : 1 to 3 months • Data : 1-6 months • Statistics : • Department 1 to 12 months • Alone : one night • Writing 1 – 3 months • Review : 3 months • Correction : 1 months • Agreement : 24 hours • Total 6 to 12 months

Why using tools? • Because these tools can lead earning time • Because everybody in the world use them and using them allow you to be in the same world • Physicians can regularly update their results for congress, new publication, policy of their hospital, clinic • To compare local results independently
