  4. From the research carried out in our territory, we have found , from the compiled questionnaires, that the people who have been subordinated themselves to the questions, have an important deficiency in language.

  5. In fact, as it turns out from the questionnaires, the greater part of the interviewed ones has not participated in any course of language in the last three years.

  6. We have also observed, that the people in the age between 20 and 40 years, people that have studied knowledge in English, French and German, have difficulty both in understanding and in communication.

  7. The scholastic formation that they have received has been based on the instruction of the grammatically rules, omitting the communicative part.

  8. The positive aspect that have come to the light of this surveying, is the interest and the enthusiasm that these people shows towards this project, since they succeed to perceive that the working future will be much more difficult, and learning at least another foreign language will be indispensable for being able to being competitive continue in the world of working.

  9. Apart from above, the reasons for which there is interest of learning the English language, are very variegated.

  10. From the received answers, we have observed that the most marked cases are those who inherent to ones job, and they are so subdivided: • In order to improve the working aspect • In order to acquire new ability • In order to communicate with people with another culture

  11. Another aspect that shouldn’t be omitted, is the economic factor, since from the answers that we received, it shows that the interviewed ones are not inclined to pay one straight much elevated.

  12. About the duration of the courses, we have observed a preference for the 20-30 week courses, where they will receive a certificate at the end of the course. • The favourite languages are: • English; • German; • French; • Spanish; • Because they are, tourist and commercially , the most diffuse languages in our territory. • In fact our zone is near a tourist famous town Taormina, the interviewed have expressed that the knowledge of other languages will be able to give a lot of tourist benefits especially to touristy operators and local companies that want to be expanded in new markets
