Here are 5 essential oils you must keep handy if you suffer from anxiety: 1. Lavender Oil Lavender oil is known to have calming properties. Proponents suggest that lavender essential oil may help alleviate anxiety in part by inducing a calming effect on the central nervous system. Lavender flowers have been used for centuries as a treatment for anxiety and depression.
