Milestones year one 30 points You will be making 3 pages for your baby book to describe your baby’s development at • 3 months 10 points • 6 months 10 points • 9 months 10 points • For each age, tell us in a paragraph or in a list what the baby is doing in the physical, social, emotional, cognitive, language domains. Use examples to make your presentation more interesting. Tell us about new activities, milestones covered, favorite people, toys, activity, food, fear if any,

  3. Baby’s first birthday 10 points • How did you celebrate? How did you work around baby’s daily routine? • How did baby react? How did baby handle himself/herself emotionally through the day/event? • Was baby trying to walk, walking? • What are some words that the baby uses? • Keep in mind any challenges you have been assigned. These should be reflected in the development.

  4. Vaccination record 20 points • Conduct an internet research and chart the various vaccinations that baby got through the first year. Any special vaccinations due to your lifestyle (place you stay, travel, disability assigned to you if any) • Were some of these given more than once? Why? • Write a paragraph explaining the various vaccines and the reason they are given. Any reactions that baby may have had after some shots? How did you handle it? Explain

  5. First illness 10 points • Describe an incident where the baby got sick and had to be hospitalized. • What happened? Why did you need to hospitalize baby? How did the baby recover? Who took care of him/her? • How did you balance work and family? Talk to your parents and discuss any such incidents that they may have faced, to get ideas and have an in depth write up. • Are you better prepared for any future incidents?
