  3. James Prescott Joule • Born 24th December 1818 His heat apparatus

  4. John Dalton • Born:(1766-09-06)6 September 1766 • John Dalton was born into a Quaker family at Eagles field • He is best known for his pioneering work in the development of modern atomic theory • Died: July 27, 1844

  5. William Henry • Born: December 12,1774 • Studied medicine 1795 in Edinburgh •  He was elected a Fellow of the Royal Society  in February 1809, having been awarded their prestigious Copley Medal in 1808 • Died:September 2, 1836
