The Bi-National Partnership Study between Canada and the U.S. focuses on transportation strategies for the Ontario-Michigan border region. This collaborative effort seeks to address critical issues such as traffic congestion, security concerns, and the needs of border processing agencies. The first stage involves environmental reviews necessary for sustainable development. With a goal of enhancing trade efficiency and exploring five potential road crossing corridors, this study aims to shape a better future for the Detroit-Windsor area. Community consultations are planned, emphasizing stakeholder involvement.
