DESCRIPTION

This study details the hierarchical organization of genetic relatedness among 116 Argentinian common bean accessions, evaluated using 91 microsatellite markers and analyzed through the STRUCTURE program. The results reveal distinct clusters, including two groups of Argentinian landraces and Argentinian wild beans, showcasing the genetic diversity present within these accessions. Understanding these relationships is crucial for conservation strategies and breeding programs aimed at enhancing common bean varieties in Argentina.
