  3. Announced – 2:1-27 • Joel calls for fasting, and the priests pray– 2:15-18 • God promises restoration to the land– 2:19-27

  4. Arrives – 2:28-3:17 • Joel sees a time of overflowing spiritual blessing • God will fight against the nations who reject Him • Joel sees a future of salvation and destruction • Acts 2: 17 – God’s kingdom has been established

  5. Abides – 3:18-21 • The kingdom shall stand indestructible – Heb 12:28 • God will continue to be glorified – 1Pt 2:9
