Deutsch 3 & 4 • Thursday, November 3: • Review Vocabulary from Tuesday: seniors copy from neighbor! • Read pgs. 9-14 in “das Gold deralten Dame” • Assignment for Monday, November 7th: • In German, write a list of everything that Det. Müller tells his assistant, Bea about the case so far. Make sure you include what happened and when, ALL of the persons involved and the places you know about. ********************************************** Vocabulary list s for the each reading section is on my website through the school’s website!!! Download before MONDAY!

Deutsch 3 & 4 • Monday, November 7th: • Turn in assignment from Thursday. • Read pages 15-21 for Wednesday (do you have your printout of vocab words????) *************************************** Assignment for Wednesday, November 9th: Write a brief summary auf Deutsch (do not copy! Write your summary in your own words) of sections 5-7 (pgs. 15-21). What is most important in this section? Who is Peter Matzke?

  4. Deutsch 3 & 4 • Friday, November 11: • Turn in your best guess for what is going to happen next. • Reading circles! Choose 2 partners to read aloud pages 26-29 together. (did you print the vocab words???). • With partners, choose 1 section of the book for Readers Theater for next week. Start at least with part one today! An explanation of Readers Theater is on the next slide…

  5. Reader’s Theater! You and your partners are going to choose one of the 5 previously read sections of the book to act out in front of the rest of class. How reader’s theater works: • 1. choose a selection. More than 1 group can do the same selection. • 2. go through the section and choose the MOST IMPORTANT information or scenes to act out. You will not read to the class, you will be doing a summary with your performance. • 3. write your dialogue. Everyone must speak equally in each group. You do not need to memorize your scripts, but you should be familiar with what you want to say about the selection. • 4. If you wish to earn a few points of extra credit, think of some props, scenery or costumes you could use to enhance your performance! Remember, we’re broadcasting! • 5. Have some fun!
