The moment you are out of the water, drink to quench your thirst so that you don’t get dehydrated. After you are back from diving, give a break of 30 minutes before you eat anything. Since you have burnt a lot of calories diving you need to replenish your energy. And the best way to do so is by eating salads, fresh fruits and wholesome meals. In short you should eat healthy stuff so that you are full but not feel like that you have eaten too much. Go for a light massage after your dive. Underwater the pressure of the water is already high and you had to wear a heavy dive suit and carry the oxygen tank as well. All this would have bogged you down. And as such you need to go for a massage to relive your sore muscles and fatigue. Many are not aware but diving can have a taxing effect on your body just like an aerobic workout. So you need to take proper rest after your day’s diving is over. The moment you hit the bed, you are sure to fall asleep fast.
