Monitor & review Implementation of EGOS- IP in RAII

This project aims to monitor and review the implementation of the Evolution of Global Observing Systems (EGOS) in Regional Association II (RAII). It includes the establishment of a web portal for sharing information on EGOS-IP and the development of evaluation indexes. The next steps involve designating national focal points, finalizing the web portal framework, endorsing evaluation indicators, and requesting national progress reports on EGOS-IP implementation.

  5. 3. Roadmap to the aims • Encouraging reginal member to designate national focal point • Monitor progress on EGOS IP implementation in RA II • Develop a web portal to share EGOS-IP information

  6. 4. Accomplishments 4.1 Web portal development • A portal for sharing the national progress of EGOS-IP implementation was established by CMA Meteorological Observation Centre (MOC) and will be tested by the members of RAII. • The portal has following columns, namely Home, News, Info, EGOS-IP, Download, Publisher, Comments and About us. • The users need to register to the site when they use key functions.

  7. Portal Main Page

  9. 5. Next steps • National focal points to be designated. • Web portal framework to be finalized. National focal points on EGOS-IP from members will be invited to test the portal. • Evaluation indicator to be endorsed and posted to the portal; • Progress report template to be determined and posted to the portal. • The national progress report about EGOS-IP implementation will be requested to upload to the portal. • The whole assessment of implementation progress for RA II will be performed.
