Slaneyside dog kennels and runs was set up in 1983 on the banks of the river slaney and was originally a greyhound racing kennel, and over the years built a reputation for top class greyhounds around the world, with slaneyside derby winners in Ireland, UK and America. In 2003 Slaneyside boarding kennels was opened and quickly became the market leader in the boarding kennels area.
