Assessment of Cytotoxicity of rVpr on HuH-7 Cells

This study evaluates the cytotoxic effects of recombinant Vpr (rVpr) on HuH-7 cells. HuH-7 cells were treated for 2 days with 5 ng/mL of rVpr and subsequently cultured for an additional 10 days. Viability was assessed by staining colonies with methylene blue, and the number of colonies was counted. Results indicate that there is no apparent cytotoxicity of rVpr at the tested concentration, showing potential for further investigation into its biological effects.
