  10. Der Sturmer Nazi Germany’s semi-official and fiercely antisemitic newspaper Der Stuermer warned of a Jewish program for world domination in this 1934 issue. The article, titled “Who is the Enemy?” blamed Jews for destroying social order and claimed that Jews wanted war, while the rest of the world wanted peace. Der Stuermer, July 1934.

  11. Work of Fiction? The Protocols is entirely a work of fiction, intentionally written to blame Jews for a variety of ills. Those who distribute it claim that it documents a Jewish conspiracy to dominate the world. The conspiracy and its alleged leaders, the so-called Elders of Zion, never existed. The Secrets of the Wise Men of Zion is the first documented version of the Protocols published outside of Russia. Published in Charlottenburg, Germany, 1920.

  14. Fraud Exposed • In 1921, theLondon Times presented conclusive proof that the Protocols was a "clumsy plagiarism." In this London Times article, reporter Philip Graves compared passages from Maurice Joly’s Dialogue in Hell Between Machiavelli and Montesquieu (1864) side-by-side with the Protocols of the Elders of Zion in order to prove that the Protocols was plagiarized. Other investigations revealed that one chapter of a Prussian novel, Hermann Goedsche’s Biarritz (1868), also “inspired” the Protocols. Times (London), August 17, 1921.

Fraud Exposed • In 1935, a Swiss court fined two Nazi leaders for circulating a German-language edition of the Protocols in Berne, Switzerland. • The U.S. Senate issued a report in 1964 declaring that the Protocols were "fabricated." • In 1993, a Russian court ruled that Pamyat, a far-right nationalist organization, had committed an anti-semitic act by publishing the Protocols.

The Protocols Today • According to the U.S. Department of State's "Report on Global Anti-Semitism" (2004), "The clear purpose of the [Protocols is] to incite hatred of Jews and of Israel." • The Internet has dramatically increased access to the Protocols. Even though many Web sites expose the Protocols as a fraud, the Internet has made it easy to use the Protocols to spread hatred of Jews.

Interesting The most infamously anti-Semitic document in history known as the The Protocols of the Elders of Zion has been shown by researchers to have Masonic as opposed to Jewish origins, with its name originally being spelled with an 'S' as The Protocols of the Elders of Sion. The document has a long history of being claimed by anti-Semitic groups as being proof of a Jewish plot to take over the world in a totalitarian New World Order— such as Adolph Hitler vehemently attested in his book Mein Kampf. While the document is generally dismissed as being an anti-Semitic hoax, researchers have shown the original doument to be genuine but actually associated with Freemasonry and the Illuminati, and having nothing to do with an "international Jewish conspiracy."
