  2. Delegates arrive to a warm welcome

  3. A bit of fun before the workshops begin… The Splitters rock the crowd before the workshops begin with their own ECTA version of ‘Down Town’.

  4. Time for the AM workshops!

  5. Delegates who attended said…. Christine Newman, Jenny Caswell and Rosemarie Daves found Dr Sue Bredekamp’s masterclass ‘enjoyable and very informative.’ Robyn Hoban was ‘happy with the speaker she came to see because she was direct.’

  6. Delegates who attended said…. Kris Thouard, Donna Torrisi, Carley Ball and Debra Riedy. Kris found Liz Hemingway’s workshop ‘very informative’. Donna and Carley said Jenny Clarke and Charlotte Bowley’s workshop was ‘very informative and helpful, with good ideas for their own programming’. Debra attended the workshop on Auditory Processing and it was ‘Fantastic. Very informative and will help her understand her friend who also focuses on auditory processing.’ Tracey Fleming said Rebecca Lennon’s workshop was “Great! Practical, hands on…get down, get dirty.” Robin Smith said Sue Thomas’ workshop was ‘Insightful’

  7. Delegates who attended said…. Judy Caskelly not only wrestled with a snake from Australia Zoo, she also attended Dr Sue Bredekamp’s masterclass. She said it was ‘Absolutely fantastic, empowering us to continue quality EC practice.” Dennis Burrell attended Gary Davey’s workshop and said it was ‘Enjoyable’. Tina Phillips attended Liz Hemingway’s workshop and said ‘It was Great’

  8. Delegates who attended said…. Diane Strub attended Sue Thomas’s outdoor play workshop. She said it was not what she expected as it aimed mainly at prep. Linda Symons said the workshop on professional portfolios was ‘Excellent and motivating’, while Barbara Paterson said the Behaviour Management workshop was also good.

  14. Delegates who attended said…. Michelle McEarron attended the Habits of the mind workshop, while Samantha Hawkins attended Ian Lillico’s masterclass. They found these workshops ‘Enjoyable’. Tony and Gavin Carrucan were exhibitors at the conference. They said the ECTA conference is ‘a fabulous event that brings together like minded people who want to bring change to the Early Childhood sector.’

  15. Delegates who attended said…. Lyn Blaik said the workshop on Anxiety in Early Childhood was ‘Excellent. I got out of it exactly what I wanted to and the lively presenter was very entertaining.’ Judy Davies attended the workshop on professional portfolios and said ‘It wasn’t what I expected but very valuable.’ Helen Golden said the workshop on the interactive whiteboard was ‘Amazing Technology’ while Kerrie Kearney said Ian Lillico’s masterclass was ‘Great’.

  16. Delegates who attended said…. Trevor Brown noted that the Pats on the Back workshop was ‘really interesting’. Lyn Dicks said the Professional Portfolios workshop was ‘Enjoyable, interesting and presented in a friendly way.’
