How did he get famous? • Da Vinci became famous because he was an apprentice to Andrea del Verrocchio, who was the best painter and sculptor of his time. • Since people knew Verrocchio, they began to know Leonardo. • At first, Da Vinci helped Verrocchio with some of his paintings • He then became an independent master • He made his first scientific drawing not so long after he became a master

  18. Conclusion Da Vinci was ahead of his time (Really?! A helicopter in the Renaissance!!! THAT’s kinda cool!)
