UCSF Medical CenterIntegrated Electronic Health Record Apex –Advancing Patient Centered Excellence • Our implementation of Epic • In Ambulatory practices for 2 years • In Inpatient for 1 year • Integrated electronic health record for all UCSFMC sites, inpatient and ambulatory • All-electronic documentation • Computerized Provider Order Entry • Two exceptions only: Chemotherapy and Pediatric TPN • Pharmacy automation and barcoded medication and blood administration

UCSF Medical CenterIntegrated Electronic Health Record Also on the Desktop • iSite, for online viewing of radiology • UCSF CareLinks: Up-to-date, PubMed, Lab manual, Pharmacy references, Pager Box, and more • Our two legacy clinical systems • UCare, in use from July 2005 to June 1, 2012 • STOR, in use from 1986 to June 1, 2012 • Personal folder (“P: drive”) for file storage • Team folder (“T: drive”) for shared materials • Microsoft Office • Internet Explorer
