  5. Client Request • Due to muscle weakness caused by the client’s disease, he needs a way to add extra force when moving his wheelchair, allowing him to move around on his own.

  6. Project Objectives • Power Assist add-on to retro-fit existing wheelchair • Easy-to-use controller for assist adjustments or total control • Easy removal of Power Assist device
