Girolamo Cardano was an Italian Renaissance mathematician, physician, astrologer and gambler Girolamo was born in Pavia In 1520, he went to the University of Pavia and later in Padua studied medicine. And he developed a considerable reputation as a physician his services was highly valued at the courts and he was the first one to describe typhoid fever.
