  2. Nature’s first green is gold, Her hardest hue to hold. Her leaf’s a flower; But only so an hour. Then leaf subsides to leaf. So Eden sank to grief, So dawn goes down to day. Nothing gold can stay.

Nature’s first green is gold: When God first created earth it was pure Her hardest hue to hold: They where not supposed to ear the fruit of the tree of knowledge of good and evil Her leaf’s a flower: In Gods eyes everything was as beautiful as a flower with out sin Then Leaf Subsides to leaf: Eve convinced Adam to eat the apple So Eden sank to grief: Banished from the garden and the garden is gone So dawn goes down today: a new day Nothing gold can stay: the earth has turned to sin

  4. What are the values? The values are that sin is a part of the natural process by which the cycle of fuller life is completed Who is the speaker addressing? The author is addressing humanity as a hole, telling everyone that once you have something really good enjoy it wile you can because it will not stay good forever.

  12. Robert Frost He was born on March 26, 1874 in San Francisco. Then he died January 29, 1963. He graduated from Harvard in 1872. He has a degree in education. He married Isabelle Moodie and she was a teacher also. He wrote his first poem in 1894 called “My Butterfly”. He died during prostate surgery. In four years he lost his son daughter and wife.

  13. When and why Robert frost wrote “Natures green is gold” in 1923. We think that he wrote this poem relating his own life. He had it all his life was gold. Then they died, “Nothing gold can stay”. Our opinion Nothing stays the same forever. Everything changes.
