Getting Started (2/4) • Browse to and double-click the ClickShare drive. • Double-click the ClickShare application: ClickShare_for_Windows.exe OR ClickShare_for_Mac.app • Wait until the Button LED’s become steady white.   14. Getting Started (4/4) • To remove your content from the display, click your Button again. • When leaving the meeting room, unplug the Button from your laptop and put it back in the Tray.   15. Advanced Use • The display can show up to four screens simultaneously. • Position on the display: • Show me full screen function: click and hold the Button. Youcannotmount the Base Unit under a random angle. Itshouldbemounted horizontal. It is onlyallowed to mount the Base Unit front side up or down. Mountingonitsside is notallowed. The average laptop resolution of 3 Megapixel can be handled by the system. • What is the noise level of the Base Unit? In normal operating conditions (up to 25°C), the noise level of the Base Unit is 28dBA. Technical FAQ • WiFi & Security • WhatWiFisecurity do you have? - Authentication protocol: WPA2-PSK - Encryptionalgorithms: CCMP This is currently the best security protocol widelyavailable. • Can I detect the ClickShare Base Unit when I scan forwirelessnetworks/accesspoints? By default, the SSID of the wireless network is broadcasted. On the Web Interface, one can choose to hide it.   34. Technical FAQ • Can I connect to the Base Unit via my PC WiFi card? Yes, you need to know the SSID of the network and security password to be able to connect to it. • What is the maximum distance between the Base Unit and the Button(s)? Typical values are 50m in free air for the 2.4 GHz band and 30m in free air for the 5 GHz band. The maximum distance depends on the physical material between Button and Base Unit and the environment. • What WiFi do you use? Is it 802.11n or 802.11g? ClickShare is compatible with 802.11n.   35. Technical FAQ • What about interference with other WiFi devices? It is unlikely that WiFi interference will limit the performance of ClickShare or other devices within its immediate proximity. The system only uses limited bandwidth. The person who installs the system can manually select the most appropriate band to be used by the system. • Do you install anything on my PC? No. ClickShare is a zero footprint solution. No trace is left on your laptop. • Do you support Bluetooth? No, Bluetooth cannot support the bandwidth necessary for video. Customer support Standard warranty conditions in the VAD contract General Information • The end user warranty period HW+SW: 12months • The Barco warranty to VAD, HW+SW = 12+3 months.3 months to handle “transit time” until install. • The repair or replacement under the Warranties covers the cost of material and factory labor. • Warranty does not cover wear and tear of the CS buttons • Return of product from VAD to Barco under RMA. • Option to either: (i) repair or correct the Product or part; or (ii) replace the Product or supply part(s) or component(s).
