Major upgrades to the Wires visual Mashup composer results in a big leap in the ability for more users to take advantage of the benefits brought by Enterprise Mashups: - increased browser support for Presto Wires (IE) - enhanced usability for visual Mashup composition - dynamic addition of custom “Mashup Actions” in Wires - detection of malicious data in public RSS/HTML feeds

Presto 2.7 Wires Highlights: Increased Control • View more information for services and Mashups from the Service Detail window, • Set conditions for any block to control whether the block is executed when the Mashup is invoked (not just service and Mashup blocks) • Change the default block labels to make flow of the Mashup in the design canvas easier to understand. • Custom actions (added as EMML macros) are now recognized dynamically, without restarting Presto

  9. Presto 2.7 Highlights: Security & Integration • “Data Scrubber” for RSS feeds to remove potential malicious code in RSS responses. HTML found in RSS response fields can include malicious code (as links to websites or blogs that host malicious code or use cross-site scripting) to steal users' identity information. The Data Scrubber can remove potential malicious code before Presto returns the response. • Enabled via Configuration for the Presto Mashup Server. Extensible. Run for it RSS Feeds!!!
