  1. Facts and Opinions: Telling the difference… When companies advertise goods for sale they give you both facts AND opinions. It is important to be able to realise the difference. This exercise will examine the facts and opinions in an estate agent’s description of a house then leave you to do your own analysis on another property. Module 6 - Using Office Applications in Teaching and Learning

  2. Click through this slide to see all the opinions highlighted in blue.. A beautifully and imaginatively restored former oast house with outstanding rural views close to the heart of this pretty Hampshire village but easily accessible to London. (Approx 7 mins’ drive from M3, 25 mins from M4 and 50 mins to London Waterloo from nearby Winchfield station.) Converted with considerable flair and imagination it is believed to date back to the mid 18th century but now with the benefit of up-to-date fixtures and fittings, providing a very satisfactory blend of character and contemporary convenience. Module 6 - Using Office Applications in Teaching and Learning

  3. “A stunning top-floor apartment set in a quiet location in the popular residential area of St Cross, benefiting from good proportioned rooms throughout and delightful views towards St Catherine’s Hill. The property is presented in excellent decorative order retaining many character features including exposed brickwork, exposed timbers and fireplaces. Of particular note is the drawing room with an enormous bay window with delightful views towards the garden and beyond.” In the box below, note all the FACTS in the description. In the box (right) note all the OPINIONS in the description. Module 6 - Using Office Applications in Teaching and Learning
