The Ed Center on Computational Science & Engineering at SDSU is focused on enhancing educational and research capabilities in the field. With a new 12,000 sq. ft. laboratory equipped with advanced technology, including Sun Sparc Ultra 2 and Macintosh systems, the center aims to build lasting collaborations across the CSU/SDSU system. Staffed by a Director, GIS Scientist, and student assistants, the center fosters faculty curriculum collaboration through innovative programs. It seeks to institutionalize linkages and support systemic change across 23 CSU campuses for enriched learning experiences.
